Subject: Here's Lookin' Up Your Address
From: dave@flip.eag.unisysgsg.com (Dave Wickard)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome welcome welcome IML readers! :-)
I haven't talked to you for quite a while.
Now, I break my self-imposed vow of silence to let you know that
things are boiling here at Unisys again.
Months ago, long term IML readers may remember that we
had an email address change here.
It was a monumental task, but finally everything got changed
over and settled down. So now, for your convenience, ;-)
we are changing the email address of the IML once more.
Trust me, I have no say in this... it's a global change across
the entire Unisys email system. Soon, your postings
to the IML via the old address: imagine@email.sp.paramax.com
will no longer go through. They will bounce.
This will take place in the near future. Currently, mail
is still being allowed to go through, but the plug will be
pulled within a few weeks.
You can begin using the NEW address immediately.
It's live...it's working.
The NEW IML address is:
imagine@email.eag.unisysgsg.com
I know you're dying to find out what it all means.
(email is the system name)
(eagan is the facility I am in)
(Unisys GSG is the division I work for-
Govt. Systems Group)
It's hard to believe that something could be both
fun AND enlightening like that, isn't it?
So... once more, write it on the dog in markers,
tatoo it on your buttocks, and scrape it into the
paint on your car:
imagine@email.eag.unisysgsg.com
Naturally, the:
imagine-request@email.eag.unisysgsg.com
address follows along with. If you need to SUBSCRIBE,
UNSUBSCRIBE, CHANGE SUBSCRIPTION ACCOUNTS, or whatever,
*always always always always always always always always*
use that address. If you post your message to the whole
list, hundreds of people will hate you and hey...
aren't you disliked ENOUGH already? ;-)
